International Students Join a Company Visit Bus Tour in Nagasaki ✨
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, 20 international students from our university participated in the “Company Visit Bus Tour in Nagasaki for International Students,” organized by Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies. The group consisted of six students from the Digital Society Co-Creation Program, six from the Food and Health Program, and eight from the Multicultural Program.
As part of the tour, the students visited KPG HOTEL & RESORT Co., Ltd. (i+Land nagasaki), an entertainment resort hotel located in Iojima, Nagasaki, by bus 🚌
The tour was organized to create opportunities for international students enrolled at universities and junior colleges that make up the QSP to connect with companies in the Saga and Nagasaki regions. Its goals were to deepen students’ understanding of local businesses, encourage them to build their future careers in the region, and support their long-term settlement in the area.
i+Land nagasaki is an entertainment resort hotel offering a wide range of facilities and activities, including natural hot springs, a bedrock bath, bicycle rentals, SUP (stand-up paddleboarding), and various accommodations.
During the visit, students toured the facilities and received presentations about the company’s business operations and the wide range of careers available in the hotel industry. By observing the facilities and workplaces firsthand, they learned about the characteristics of service-oriented work and how to provide hospitality to guests visiting from different countries and regions ✨
The students also had the opportunity to participate in a Q&A session with a staff member from Nepal 🌏 They learned about working for a Japanese company and the importance of developing Japanese-language skills while still in university. The students listened attentively and gained valuable insights that encouraged them to think about their own futures and career paths 😊
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies and everyone involved in organizing and supporting this valuable opportunity.
Our university will continue to provide various opportunities for international students to strengthen their connections with the local community and to connect their learning and intercultural experiences in the region with their future career development.
