令和8年度佐賀市留学生奨学金給付式が6月30日（火）、佐賀商工ビル4階にて開催されました。本年度は、本学短期大学部地域生活支援学科のミャンマー出身留学生4名（多文化コース2年生3名、食健康コース1年生1名）が奨学生として採用されました。
　給付式では、奨学生たちが関係者や参加者と積極的に交流し、和やかな雰囲気の中で式が行われました
　奨学生たちは、佐賀市奨学生に選ばれたことへの感謝を述べるとともに、交付式を通して多くの支えのもとで学びが成り立っていることを改めて実感したと話しました。今後は、この支援を励みに学業に一層励むとともに、日本の文化や地域活動にも積極的に参加し、自己の成長につなげていく考えを示しました。また、将来は学んだ知識や経験を活かし、社会に貢献できる人材として成長していきたいとの意欲を語りました
　本奨学金を通じて、学生たちがより一層学びを深め、国際社会で活躍できる人材へと成長することが期待されます
 

　The 2026 Saga City International Student Scholarship Award Ceremony was held on June 30 at the fourth floor of the Saga Commerce and Industry Building.This year, four international students from Myanmar enrolled in the Department of Regional Life Support at the Junior College of our institution were selected as scholarship recipients: three second-year students in the Multicultural Course and one first-year student in the Food and Health Course.

　During the ceremony, the scholarship recipients actively interacted with guests and related personnel, and the event was conducted in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

　The recipients expressed their gratitude for being selected as Saga City scholarship students, and reflected on the realization that their studies are supported by many people. They stated that they will use this support as motivation to further devote themselves to their studies, while also actively participating in Japanese culture and local community activities to foster their personal growth. They further expressed their aspiration to utilize the knowledge and experience they gain to become individuals who can contribute to society in the future.

　Through this scholarship program, the students are expected to further deepen their studies and grow into individuals who can play active roles in the international community.
