今年11月16日（日）、佐賀県在住の方を国籍を問わず対象とした 佐賀さいこう！国際運動会2025 が、佐賀県立佐賀商業高等学校の体育館にて開催され、多くの参加者でにぎわいました。本学ダイバーシティセンターでは、中国出身の劉コーディネーターの引率のもと、短期大学部多文化コースに在籍するミャンマー出身留学生13名および大学社会福祉学科の学生1名、計14名が参加しました
　競技前の交流コーナーでは、縁日やフォトスポット、書道体験、ダンスなど多彩な企画が用意され、学生たちは日本人高校生による書道を鑑賞したほか、親子連れの地域の方々と交流し、一緒に遊ぶなど、家庭的で温かい雰囲気の中、楽しい時間を過ごしました。さらに、追いかけ玉入れや宅配リレーといった競技を通じて日本の文化に触れる貴重な機会となり、学生たちは初めての体験に大きな感動を覚えていました。参加学生からは「とても楽しかった」「参加してよかった」といった声が多く寄せられました
　今回のイベント開催にあたり、ご協力いただいた地域の皆さまに心より感謝申し上げます。スポーツを通じて国境を越えた異文化交流と共生が、今後さらに深まることを期待しています
 

　On Sunday, November 16, this year, Saga Saikou! International Sports Festival 2025 was held at the gymnasium of Saga Prefectural Saga Commercial High School. The event was open to all residents of Saga Prefecture regardless of nationality and was lively with many participants.From the University Diversity Center, a total of fourteen students participated under the supervision of Coordinator Liu from China, including thirteen international students from Myanmar enrolled in the Junior College Multicultural Course and one student from the University’s Department of Social Welfare.

　Prior to the competitions, a variety of exchange activities were offered, such as festival booths, photo spots, calligraphy experiences, and dance performances. The students enjoyed watching calligraphy by Japanese high school students and interacting with local community members, including families with children. They played together and spent an enjoyable time in a warm and welcoming, family-like atmosphere. In addition, through competitions such as the chasing ball toss and delivery relay races, the students had a valuable opportunity to experience Japanese culture, and many were deeply impressed by these first-time experiences.
　Many participating students commented, “It was very fun” and “I’m glad I participated.” We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all members of the local community who supported the event. We hope that cross-cultural exchange and coexistence beyond national borders will continue to deepen through sports in the future.
