令和７年７月２５日（金）に中国の厦門工学院外国語学院日本語学科長陳先生が本学を訪問され、福元学長をはじめ橋本副学長、園部国際交流センター長、福元副国際交流センター長、田中健康福祉学専攻長、安徳社会福祉学科長がお出迎えをしました
　中国福建省厦門市の集美区に位置する厦門工学院は、中国の高等教育政策において推進されてきた「産学連携」「実践型教育」「民間教育資本の導入」といった方針のもとで設立されました。現在、同大学には約1万人の学生が在籍しており、そのうち外国語学院にはビジネス英語専攻と日本語専攻を中心に、約600〜700人の学生が学んでいます。
　今回の訪問では、今後の学生および教員を含めた大学間の交流、交換留学などに関して、活発な意見交換が行われました。今後も、双方にとって実りある連携関係の構築を目指してまいります。

　On Friday, July 25, 2025, Professor Chen, Head of the Japanese Department at the School of Foreign Languages, Xiamen Institute of Technology in China, visited our university. She was welcomed by President Fukumoto, Vice President Hashimoto, Director of the International Exchange Center Sonobe, Deputy Director of the International Exchange Center Fukumoto, Director of the Department of Health and Welfare Studies Professor Tanaka, and Head of the Department of Social Welfare Professor Andoku

　Located in Jimei District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province, China, Xiamen Institute of Technology was established under national higher education policies promoting industry-academia collaboration, practice-oriented education, and the introduction of private-sector educational capital. Currently, the university has approximately 10,000 students enrolled, with about 600 to 700 students studying at the School of Foreign Languages, mainly in the Business English and Japanese majors.

　During this visit, active discussions were held regarding future inter-university exchanges involving both students and faculty, as well as student exchange programs. We will continue to aim for building a fruitful partnership that benefits both institutions.
