令和7年度佐賀市留学生奨学金給付式が6月30日、佐賀商工ビルにて開催されました。本年度は、本学短期大学部地域生活支援学科多文化コースに在籍する、ミャンマー出身の留学生6名（2年生・1年生 各3名）が奨学生として採用されました
　奨学生たちは当日、参加者と積極的に交流しながら、奨学金を活用して授業以外でも日本文化や日本語の学習に意欲的に取り組み、地域貢献にも積極的に関わっていきたいと話しています。また、佐賀市の皆さまへの深い感謝の気持ちも述べていました
　この貴重で素晴らしい機会を活かし、さらに学びを深めるとともに、将来は国際社会で活躍できる人材になることを期待しています

　The 2025 Saga City International Student Scholarship Award Ceremony was held on June 30th at the Saga Chamber of Commerce and Industry Building. This year, six international students from Myanmar enrolled in the Multicultural Course of the Department of Regional Life Support at our college’s junior college division (three second-year and three first-year students) were selected as scholarship recipients.

　On the day of the ceremony, the scholarship recipients actively interacted with other participants and expressed their enthusiasm for using the scholarship to engage in learning Japanese language and culture beyond their classes, as well as their strong desire to contribute to the local community. They also conveyed their deep gratitude to the people of Saga City.

　We hope that these students will make the most of this valuable and wonderful opportunity to further deepen their studies and become individuals who can thrive in the international community in the future.
