2026年4月28日（火）神埼市役所 ゼロカーボンシティ推進課の皆さまにご来学いただき、留学生を対象とした「ごみの分別・出し方講座」を実施しました。

当日は約70名の留学生が参加し、日本におけるごみの分別方法や収集ルール、指定ごみ袋の使い方などについて、分かりやすくご説明いただきました。

講座では、実際のごみの例を用いながら、可燃ごみ・不燃ごみ・資源ごみの違いや、収集日・出し方の注意点などを丁寧に解説していただき、留学生にとって日常生活に直結する大変有意義な内容となりました。

本学では、今後も留学生が地域社会の一員として生活できるよう、生活支援や地域理解を深める取り組みを継続してまいります。

On April 28, staff from the Zero Carbon City Promotion Division of Kanzaki City Hall visited our university to conduct a workshop on garbage sorting and disposal for international students.

Approximately 70 international students participated in the session. The workshop provided clear and practical explanations on Japan’s waste sorting system, collection rules, and the proper use of designated garbage bags.

Using real-life examples, the speakers carefully explained the differences between burnable, non-burnable, and recyclable waste, as well as important points regarding collection days and disposal methods. The session proved to be highly informative and directly relevant to students’ daily lives.

Our university will continue to support international students in adapting to life in Japan and in deepening their understanding of the local community.
